INSTALLATION

     _________________________________________________________________________________________

ALL CHARGE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Locate the central point in the trolling battery compartment wall between the trolling battery,

2. Install the Smart box on the wall closest to the middle of the trolling batteries with the box facing out and the mounting brackets top to bottom.

3. Connect the battery wires from batt, 1 to the battery that the positive cable goes to the positive directly to the trolling motor making sure red goes to positive and black goes to negative.

4. Connect the battery wires from batt, 2 to the battery that the negative cable goes to the negative directly to the trolling motor making sure red goes to positive and black goes to negative.

5. Run the red and black wires with the plug end supplied from the trolling battery compartment to the boat’s starting battery compartment making sure that the circuit breaker goes to the boat’s starting battery. Make sure that the wires are not going to rub against anything that could rub or scrap the wires while the boat is bouncing around.

6. Connect the plug-in to the Smart Box first.

7. Hook the black wire to the negative side of the boat’s starting battery and tighten.

8. Install the circuit breaker close to the positive side of the boat’s starting battery. Hook the red wire to one side of the circuit breaker making sure the copper side of the circuit breaker is closest to the boat’s starting battery.

9, Hook one side of the short red jumper wire to the copper side of the circuit breaker and tighten down making sure the terminals on top of the circuit breaker have no chance of being touched (grounded out) by any metal objects. Take some electrical tape and cover the terminals.

10. Hook the other side of the red jumper to the positive terminal of the boat’s starting battery and tighten down.

11. Go back and make sure all of the connections are tight.

***VERY IMPORTANT..(will burn the All Charge unit out).***
If using the All Charge system with any AC charger you can not have the AC charger hooked to the starting battery of the boat if the onboard is also hooked to the trolling batteries at the same time.
If using a single bank charger hooked to the All Charge unit you can charge the starting battery of boat as well as up to three trolling batteries.
If in doubt go to the Stayncharge boards and ask some one that is using the units or contact us direct through email or phone listed below.
